Train To Hell - Improvement Devlog
Devlog - Train To Hell.
I just about managed to submit Train To Hell to Trijam in time. This meant that there were a lot of things that I wanted to change about it, and today I did.
1- General Fixes. There were a lot of little things I wanted to fix. This included but was not limited to lighting issues (as you can see in the archived version, the rail flashes in the introduction), sound issues (direction change click is too loud), and more.
2- Preparation for Google Play. I wanted to upload this game to Google Play (pending for confirmation with the fun police at the moment), so I had to change some things. I baked in the lighting, added touch controls (yes, they work even on itch.io, try them out!) and more.
3- Game Design Improvements. I changed how the enemies look to communicate better that the big demons are bad (red, evil!) and the little ones won't hurt you (yellow, probably will not!)
4 - World Art Improvements. I made the area more varied when compared to the old hell, I added several colour-themed areas, with various mystical-looking plants.
That said, I am pretty happy with the current version, and I hope you all enjoy it!
